Thoughts

Grandpa was an incredibly loving and intelligent person who I am so thankful to have had in my life. Anytime we visited England, the first thing I wanted to do was spend time with Granny and Grandpa. When we arrived at the house, Grandpa would give me one of his big, strong hugs - a hug that guaranteed to make a person feel loved. I remember Grandpa taking me and my brother to the cricket field to kick a soccer ball, him spending time to help me with my family tree project for school, and him doing the occasional magic trick that would astound 6 year old me! He would always listen to what I had to say, and respond with his own story or his own knowledge and there was a lot of knowledge. The memories made with him will stay with me forever. I love you Grandpa Rosie.

Thank you, Grandpa… For making us laugh, think and find the best in ourselves. You knew exactly what to say, to inspire and encourage - and all with a quick joke, a smile and a laugh. Thank you, for all the love you shared to bring us together; for all of your support, belief and wisdom that you offered. I will cherish my memories of you, Grandpa, always. Your inspiration and love will continue to shine bright; you will be close in my thoughts forever. Thank you. My love always, Harry

Grandpa, I will never forget how you would hold my hand so tight my bones would grind together. I will always remember playing and gardening with you. You will be in my thoughts forever! Lots of love, Christopher Thomas William Chanin
